From Portrait to Self-Portrait is a transformative art project that bridges the gap between how we are seen and how we see ourselves. Launched in Barcelona and now connecting over 1,200 artists worldwide, the initiative begins with a black-and-white photographic portrait of each artist in their creative space. These portraits are then returned to the artists, who reinterpret them as self-portraits—sometimes affirming, sometimes subverting the original image.
